Cosmic stuttered. He was aiming to get big fat Roly Poly bear in the window fitted out with the shoppe Christmas paper and some cotton wool for a beard. A real Bear Santa? He had not actually believed there was one himself, but he could not say that in front of Smudge. He looked to Harmony for help.
"Bear Santa?" he mouthed at her questioningly.
"There! Even Cosmic does not believe there is one!" Smudge piped up again.
"Ah, well now young bear, that is where you are wrong," said a voice behind them.
"There is a Bear Santa, Smudge, just as Jolly Bear told you, and I shall personally go and get him for you," Rumpleklaas said pointing to the full moon shining though the window. "He can be found way up there, in Bearland!" ....... Cosmic, Harmony, Rumpleklaas, Tinsel and little Smudge all looked expectantly at Poppy, who now held in her hand the key that would open the door to another world - the world of Bearland.  |

Earth's moon is home to Satylite Finn, who needs a soulmate - an earthborn wizard. He is helped by an earthling, a trilobyte and of course the Blue Rabbit. Intrigued, you will be! Satylea (known to Earthlings as the Moon) is also home to the Blue Rabbit and, although we on Earth see a grey and dusty surface, Satylea hides a secret few have discovered. Arthur took his place at the table, sliding the red silk off the crystal. He gazed into in intently. Once again, he could see only his own reflection. He gazed so hard that his eyes began to water from lack of blinking; he did not want to miss a thing. The green face was still there and it was smiling!"

Finn continues his adventures after arriving on Earth with Spiky, the Trilobyte. In the first book, we found out about the secret world of Satylea, now it is Finn's turn to find out all about our world and make friends with some Earthlings. In this book we also meet Will Kemp, an unsung hero from the past! Equally as enjoyable as Lost Souls. I ran back to the stone shelter, my feet squelching and slipping on the wet ground. I nearly jumped out of my green skin when a sudden flash of light coursed towards me. Could this earth planet be objecting to my presence? "Master finn, if you could please refrain from sudden movements: I nearly fell out of my shell." "Spiky, oh Spiky, I am so glad you are here," was all I could say as up to now I had completely forgotten about my small friend. I was not alone after all. "Well,where else would I be, hmm?" the small trilobite enquired huffily. "And it is time for my swim."

Soul Searching follows the "nine days wonder" of Will Kemp, a travelling player from Shakespeare's England, as he again plunges to the rescue of Satylite Finn. Part two follows Finn to Gaia, the land of the Trog-uls, to continue his quest to find the wizard destined to become his soulmate. "I'll go," said Will rashly. Brave talk from a fool who then made an elaborate bow to the watching Sayleans and the Blue Rabbit before diving into the dark waters of the Lake of Dreams. "Will Kemp is coming to find you, Finn."
